Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCS University), Meerut

Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU) was established as Meerut University in 1965, to cater to the needs of Higher Education in Western Uttar Pradesh. The University celebrated its silver jubilee in 1991. It was given its current name to honour the memory of India's former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh. This Public State University has a world-class 222-acre campus in Meerut. It houses 8 faculties to provide High-Quality Education in various areas of study. They divided into two separate divisions such as Meerut and Saharanpur with nine districts including Gautam Budh Nagar, Bagpat, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, and Shamli.

The university having various schools of studies viz. sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Engineering. M.Phil and Ph.D. programs were started in 1969. The institution offers numerous postgraduate, diploma, certificate and professional courses. There are 252 professional institutions/colleges and 109 colleges affiliated to it. Also, the university is home to a Constituent Engineering College Sir Chhoturam Institute Of Engineering and Technology, which is situated on the campus. Hostel: 

  • For boy students there are six hostels.
  • For female students, two hostels are reserved and those who are sports persons, one hostel is reserved for them specifically.

  • Along with this, there are mind-blowing arrangements for students to involve in a large number of indoor as well as outdoor games

Auditorium:

  • The auditorium is equipped with light and sound systems for all the functions

  • Currently, the computer centre has 2 servers and 35 Pentium IV, 37 Pentium III and one 386 computer systems

Choudhary Charan Singh University UG Admission 2020

CCS University offers Courses at UG, PG and doctoral levels. At UG level Univ. provides admission to B.L.I.Sc., B.Sc., BJMC, B.Sc. (Honours), BA- LL.B, B.Com. (Honours), BBA, B.P.Ed.

The duration of B.Sc., BJMC, B.Com.and BBA is 3 years while for B.L.I.Sc., B.P.Ed. and BA-LL.B. it is 1 year, 2 years and 5 years respectively.

The basic Eligibility Criteria for CCSU UG Admission is having passed 10+2 examination with minimum 45% marks. The availability of application form is on official website of CCS University.

The application fee for General and OBC candidates is INR 700 and for SC/ST candidates is INR 500/-. Applicants seeking admission can pay the application fee through credit card/debit card/net banking.

Selection of candidates will be based upon their academic performance and a merit list will be displayed on the university website.
