NDA Exam Process

The selection process of NDA Exam in NDA and NA is followed by two-stages.

• Written Examination
• Interview

NDA Exam Pattern

NDA Exam - Written consists of Objective Type questions to test the knowledge and excellence of applicants. 

NDA Exam - Two-Stage Selection Procedure

• The one who shortlisted in written exam will allow giving i.e. (I) Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test at Selection Centers/Air Force Selection Boards/Naval Selection Boards and the qualifying one get the chance to give stage (II) Officers Potentiality Test.
• Stage I has Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests i.e a Picture Perception and Description Test (PP&DT).
• Stage II comprises of Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the Conference.
• If you opted for Air Force as first choice you will have to take Computerized Pilot Selection System (CPSS) and Pilot Aptitude Test (which forms the whole PAB Test or PABT). All the candidates who are qualified for Air Force, should separately qualify the PABT.
• PABT for Air Force test takes is conducted only once and the grade secured by claimant at the first test will, therefore, hold good for every subsequent interview with the Air Force Selection Board. If someone unsuccessful in the first pilot test cannot apply to the NDA exam for the Air Force Wing/ Naval Air Arm /General Duties (Pilot) branch.
