Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria required for IBPS PO Exam is given below:

Educational Qualification required for IBPS PO Exam

Graduation Degree: IBPS PO Exam just required graduation degree such as BA, BCom, BSc, B.Tech or other in any stream and from any reputed university. The one who also has equivalent qualification can also eligible for this exam.

Computer Literacy: Knowledge of computer is must for the IBPS PO Exam.

Language Proficiency: The proficiency of official language of state/UT in verbal and written both the forms are desirable for IBPS PO Exam. Read, write, and speak is the must for the candidate. 

Applicant’s nationality for IBPS PO Exam:

1. Citizen of India
2. Candidate of Nepal or Bhutan can apply for IBPS PO Exam only if they have genuine eligibility certificate.
3. A Refugee of Tibet who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of the permanent settlement are also eligible for IBPS PO Exam if they have a certificate given by the central government.
4. Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who have migrated from Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire,Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Zambia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India are also eligible for IBPS PO Exam.

Age Eligibility of candidates applying for IBPS PO Exam:
