AICET Exam General Ability Test (GAT) is divided into various sections such as:

1. Quantitative Ability
2. Communication Ability
3. Analytical Ability
4. General Knowledge and Current Affairs

• Quantitative Ability:This section is to test the quantitative ability of the candidates in the AICET Exam. The section consists of questions on Rate of Interest, Addition, Ratio and Proportion, Multiplication, Percentage, Division, Fractions, Work and Task, and Distance.
• Communication Ability and English Comprehension:This section has questions on singular, synonyms, correct spellings, antonyms, words with corresponding meanings, plural, one word substitutes, idioms and phrases, comprehend a situation from a given passage etc.
• Analytical Ability and Logical Ability:This section checks the logical ability of the candidate.
• General Knowledge and Current Affairs:This section is to check the general ability and knowledge of current affairs in candidate.

AICET Exam Creative Ability Test

This test is held to judge the power of observation in concept development, intuitive ability, and design ability of the candidate. This is also to check the creative and innovative use of color and illustration skills. For students applying for Media & Mass Communication programme, verbal & writing communication skills will be assessed
