BTech, MTech, and MBA are the three most popular programmes of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Candidates interested in the BTech programme must take the JEE Main or AEEE entrance test. Admission to the MTech programme is based on GATE/PGCET/TANCET/PGECET results. MBA admissions are based on the CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT/ GRE scores.

VIT University

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is a private deemed university that was founded in 2001. VIT Vellore has 72 courses in Engineering and Architecture, Sciences, Law, Management and Business Administration, Computer Application and Information Technology, Animation and Design, Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Commerce.

The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), formerly known as Manipal University, was founded in 1953 and is accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC). MAHE is a private Deemed to be University located in Manipal, India. According to the NIRF Ranking 2022, the institution was placed seventh in university, seventeenth overall, fifteenth in architecture, and thirty-first in research categories. VIT Vellore has revealed its 2023 placement numbers. According to the official website, 904 recruiters took part in the placement drive and made 14,345 job offers to students till April 4, 2023. During VIT Vellore placements 2023, the top and average packages provided were INR 1.02 crore per annum and INR 9.23 LPA, respectively. 

Furthermore, during VIT Vellore placements in 2023, 4,461 super dream offers and 3,453 dream offers were obtained. In 2023, the top recruiters at VIT Vellore included Microsoft, Amazon, PayPal, Cisco, Bank of America, and others.
