Manipal University invites applications to its M.Tech programs in as many as 7 disciplines. The basic eligibility for getting admission in the M.Tech program of Manipal University is a B.Tech or a B.E degree in the particular discipline. Candidates looking for a PG course in Sciences of Manipal University need to be a graduate in the particular discipline having 50% marks.

Selection to M.Tech courses is based on the scores obtained in the qualifying test as well as in the interview. Candidates who have passed GATE can apply for M.Tech.

Manipal University provides BPES, B.Com, LLB, BA and BBA courses in Law & Humanities, Arts, and Management category. Candidates are required to have passed higher secondary class with minimum 50% marks for admission into these undergraduate programs.

Admission to all such programs of Manipal University is possible by considering the performance of the candidates in this higher secondary class. Admissions are possible on the basis of marks as well as personal interview performance.

• Candidates who are looking to applying for a Hotel Management program must be aged between 17 & 22 years on July 1 at the year of admission.
• BA-LLB program has a duration of 5 years while LLM is of 3-years duration.
• BA-LLB candidates must be below the age of 20 (22 years in case of SC & ST candidates)

PG Admission to Manipal University

Manipal University invites multiple courses in its variety of departments. The minimum eligibility defined for getting enrollment in such programs is a bachelor degree with minimum 50% marks.

For the ones who want to apply to MBA course, the candidates need to appear for a national level test such as CMAT/CAT or XAT. Admission in MBA programme is possible after considering the marks gained in Entrance test, Academics, presentation and interview, GD, prior work experience & English Comprehension test

Ph.D. Admission to Manipal University

Manipal University provides part-time and full-time Ph.D. programs in varied disciplines such as Humanities, Law, Design & Architecture, Management, and Commerce. The eligibility for getting admission in Ph.D. courses is a pass in a PG degree having minimum 55% marks in the concerned stream.

One can apply for a Ph.D. course two times in a year, i.e. in January to June and July to December. Selection to the Ph.D. Courses is based on the written test performance the performance in the interview.

The Ph.D. written test will be comprised of 100 MCQs and the exam lasts for 2 hours. The students need to attempt a question paper of descriptive type for the Ph.D. program in Architecture and Design of Manipal University.

Key Points:

• The duration of the Ph.D. course is 3-5 years. For regular Ph.D. programs, the duration is 4 to 7 years.
• SC,ST, OBC, and differently abled applications are considered eligible to get 5% exemption from the defined minimum marks.
• Manipal University provides teaching assistantship of Rs. 15000 for full-time Ph.D. & Rs. 12000 for part-time Ph.D. candidates.
• The result of the entrance test of the Ph.D. program shall be declared on 11^th December 2017 and the interviews will be organized from 12^th December 2017.

How to Apply in Manipal University

Applicants can easily apply via online or offline mode. They are required to follow the below-mentioned steps:-

• First, they need to visit Manipal University official site and then they need to click on the button Apply Online
• Now they are required to fill the form
• Pay the fees i.e. Rs. 600 through online mode via debit card/credit card or net banking

Candidates can also submit the form offline. Candidates are required to follow the steps below to apply through an offline application.

• First, the candidates are supposed to visit the site of Manipal University and from there they can fill the form.
• Now attach the copies of the credentials such as documents as well as the mark sheets.
• Candidates need to attach the DD of Rs. 600 in the name of ‘Manipal University Jaipur’ which will be payable at Jaipur.

Refund Policy

• 15 days before the last notified admission date- 100% fee shall be refunded.
• 15 days after the last admission date: 80% fees shall be refunded.
• If the time is more than fifteen days but less than thirty days after the last admission date, then the candidates will get 50% fee refund.
• [After 30 days of the admission date: No Refund
