As far as I know people have got placed in really good companies like Colgate Palmolive, Bajaj Allianz and etc. Also the package is decent when it comes to LPU. In 2016 there were 500 companies who were ready to recruit Lovely Professional University graduates. Companies like Amazon have taken over 90 students from here; I think these examples are self-explanatory that LPU has good placements and packages. Also there were international clients from Dubai who recruited people from LPU for around 11 lakh per annum which I think are decent enough for starters. For the placement, University provide PEP classes to provide best placement drives. Abundant companies visit LPU to recruit youngsters. Currently, record breaking placements is taken by studentsd. a student got a prestigious salary package of 64 LPA and also a another student also got 46 LPA salary package. The hustle and bustle for placement at LPU begins in sixth semester for four year programs and in the fifth semester for three year programs. One has to enrol for the placement classes if one wants to avail campus recruitment drives. For each discipline there is a definitive allocation of seats. For example CSE students are categorized for product-based companies (120 seats at least) and service-based companies. The students who opt for placement drives have to pay placement fees.. This includes fees for PEP classes and interview preparation classes like Aptitude, analytical skills, verbal ability, Soft skills enhancement and Interviews, coding and other core subjects classes. The students then appear for placements interviews in front of companies. Companies start coming in as soon as from sixth semester and by the end of the seventh semester most of the big companies are through with their interviews.

LPU provides placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. These classes help students for placements so that they can get selected in the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Students are trained in Aptitude, Reasoning, free preparation for Govt Exams, Soft Skills and language training, Interviewing skills right from the 2nd year, continuously for 1-1.5 years till they get job.Almost 98% of students who have above 6CGPA in engineering get placed in any reputed company. On an average, 200 MNCs visit our campus every year, placing around 2000 students every year. Packages vary from 3.33lpa to 30 lpa based on the students' skill.
