About College
T J Institute of Technology was established in 2001 by Ponniamman Educational Trust and the TJ Educational Trust with the objective of producing high quality Engineers and Technocrats. The College imparts world class training and research. It offers six undergraduate and four postgraduate courses in the field of engineering and technology. It also offers computer application and management programmes. It is located at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

The College has an independent Training & placement Cell devoted to cater the needs of the organizations in conducting campus interviews for placements. 85% of Students in the year 2013-14 were placed in various Industries, IT Companies in India & Abroad.

Library |
The Library houses nearly 28,000 volumes of books and 5,800 titles enable the students in their study and research. An online journal database with a link to IEEE is also available. |

Hostel |
A separate hostel for boys and girls with spacious rooms and adequate storage areas is available. Hostel students can access the Wi-Fi facility. |

Computer Lab |
The College provides extensive computing resources for research and education. This includes more than 300 high-performance computers in the range of Linux, Windows workstations and a good number of laptop systems. |
