About College

People's Education Society Institute of Technology, Bangalore South Campus (PESIT) ( formerly called the PES School of Engineering or PESSE) is a private co-educational engineering college on Hosur Road, Bangalore, India.

• PESIT South Campus was established in 2005 and is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
• PESIT South Campus is managed by the People's Education Society (PES), which was founded in 1972, in a rented gymnasium in Bangalore, with around 40 students.
• Presently, the college is offering 45 programs in different fields like Medicine, Engineering, Management and Life Sciences to the around 15000 students.
• Campuses are designed to support rigorous academic study and promote shared learning among a diverse student community.
• Campuses incorporate infrastructure that matches the best in the country – ensuring that students have everything they need for a rich, stimulating campus life.

Placement Record:

PESIT, Bangalore has well designed training & Placement cell. The pay package for freshers ranges from Rs. 3.13 lakh to Rs. 9.30 lakh a year and the average salary is Rs. 4.50 lakh a year. TCS has been the largest recruiter where it placed 450 students. Followed by HCL with 135 students, Wipro 121 students and IBM 75 students.

CORI (Crucible of Research and Innovation):

The team at CORI is a mix of diverse and experienced talent. Many organizations which are known for their cutting edge research capabilities and pioneering work have entrusted CORI with these projects. CORI is excited by the journey from creating an idea, forming a working concept, building a prototype, and solving the problem. Partnering in this journey are industries and research organizations.

Festival:

• AATMATRISHA: Techno-Cultural Fest – It’s a three day fest with events spanning categories like technnology, literature, fine arts, gaming, trivia, culture, etc. Folk artists and rock bands also perform during this event.

• VISTAS is a management competition festival conducted by the students supported by the department of BBM. Over 40 colleges across India come to PES to join the celebration of knowledge. This is held during August – September every year.
• ESTAFIO - Annual sports competition is conducted by the students support by the department. Sports day happens tentatively during the month of March - April every year.
