About College
People's Education Society Institute of Technology, Bangalore South Campus (PESIT) ( formerly called the PES School of Engineering or PESSE) is a private co-educational engineering college on Hosur Road, Bangalore, India.
- PESIT South Campus was established in 2005 and is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
- PESIT South Campus is managed by the People's Education Society (PES), which was founded in 1972, in a rented gymnasium in Bangalore, with around 40 students.
- Presently, the college is offering 45 programs in different fields like Medicine, Engineering, Management and Life Sciences to the around 15000 students.
- Campuses are designed to support rigorous academic study and promote shared learning among a diverse student community.

Library At PES occupy over 50,000 square feet and provide students with access to a vast repository of resources, including books and periodicals. These peaceful, sun-lit areas provide ideal study spaces. Our libraries remain open until midnight on all days. During the examinations, they are open 24 hours.
Computing The libraries at PES, 40 different computer laboratories across the campuses house over a thousand computers for use by students and staff are available to meet project requirements and encourage research activities.
Sports From cricket to basketball, athletics to yoga - students can stay fit in any way they choose. Excellent coaching facilities allow them to hone their skills and PES teams ahve won much acclaim for their performance on the sports field. |
