NRI Institute of Information Science and Technology (NIIST) is a institute of NRI group of Institutions. It was established in the year 2000.It is a research institute in central India which has many benchmarks in a very short span of a decade .It has received NBA and IAO Accreditations for most of the courses.It has recognized by IIT Bombay as a Remote Centre

College calls few companies For internship but the selection process is difficult however college supports students For training in any companies they desire. Placements are average but few of the giants companies that visits this college. They hired lots of students if they fulfill their criteria college has all the potentials For developing students to get selected such as soft skills classes, campus recruitment training, aptitude etc. Therefore training and placement cell is very active here.
