Xavier Institute of Development Action and Studies (XIDAS) was established in 1995 by Fr. Michael Van del Bogaert, SJ. XIDAS is also known as XIM Jabalpur. XIDAS Institute is located at 4th Mile, Mandla Road, Tihari, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.

The Institute is a sister concern of Jesuit run Management Institutes like XLRI, Jamshedpur; XIM, Bhuwaneshwar; XISS, Ranchi; LIBA, Chennai and XBS, Kolkata and many others across the world.

The Institute has affiliation from AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) and also recognized by AIMS, AIMA, XAT, ASSOCHAM, Jesuit. XIDAS campus offers two years full time PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) with specialization in Human Resource, Marketing and Finance and Rural Management.

College Infrastructure and Facility

Auditorium	The institute has a State-of-the-art 650-seater completely air-conditioned auditorium (Loyola Auditorium) equipped with modern facilities.
Amphitheatre	The institute has a State-of-the-art 400 people capacity Pentagon open – air Amphitheatre.
Computer Centre	The Computer Lab has 120 computers fully equipped with latest software. Local Area Network and Wi-Fi facility is available for the whole campus. The computer lab is open for 12 hours on all days.
Library	The library is open for 12 hours on all days. It comprises of more than 11000 Book Volumes, National and International Journals and around 50 e-journals. The library has subscription to J-Gate, an online national database approved by AICTE.
Training Hall	Well-equipped training halls with Capacity of 250, 150, 100, 60 and 35 respectively are availed. Air conditioning of these rooms is available on request.
Hostel	Campus has separate hostel facility for boys & Girls within campus. Boys have options of single or double sharing room. Double sharing room available for girls.
Medical	Round the clock In – house Medical facility is available to take care of emergency & other medical needs of the students. A Medical officer is present to attend the patients
Recreational Centre	Football, Basket and Volleyball Grounds, Badminton Courts, Table Tennis Court, Cricket set etc. are available for students for relaxing. The Institutes offers beautiful lawns with rich bio-diversity and encourages students to engage themselves in yoga for good health. Yoga experts are called to deliver yoga sessions. A state of art gym with all latest and modern equipment is available at the disposal of students and trainees also.
