Bangalore College of Engineering and Technology (BCET), Bangalore was established in 2001. The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Visveshwaraiah Technological University. The college is run by Bangalore Educational Trust, Bangalore with the object of providing education to all in the field of engineering &technology, arts & science, medical and paramedical courses in economically and educationally backward areas.

Not even a single student has been placed from current batch till now & that there is no proper placement cell. Going by statistics mentioned on college website too, placements can be said to be below average at best. Maximum students that get placed are rarely above 20%. Even though the college was established in 2001, the placements still haven
