About College

 KMCH College of Nursing, Coimbatore, was founded in the year 1993. The college is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai and approved by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi & the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai. It offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Research and Diploma courses in Nursing

  • The college is the first educational institution of Kovai Medical Center Research & Educational Trust
  • The college is ISO 9001:2000 certified since 2005
  • The college enrolled 100 in B.Sc. (Nursing) and 40 in M.Sc. (Nursing)
  • The college 750 bedded super-speciality hospital

Extra-Curricular:

  • NSS- The college started NSS in 2006. It organised various programmes. A special camp was conducted from 15-03-2013 to 21-03-2013 at Sarkarsamakulam Primary Health Center which was inaugurated.  As a part of special camp various activities including hypertension and diabetic screening camp was conducted
  • SNA- Various intra-collegiate competition, intercollegiate and inter university competitions are organised by SNA
  • Cultural and sports bonanza conducted in the month of December every year enrich their students hood

Library

The college library consist an area of 5392 Sq.f. with seating capacity of 300 readers. It has 5912 Books, 4158 Titles, 48 Journals and Magazines and 3755 CD's.

Computer lab

There is well-equipped computer library with 70 computers and separate lab for E-Learning with 20 computers.

Seminar Hall

Seminar Hall has latest audio and video equipments to accommodate 150 persons.

Auditorium

Auditorium has capacity of accommodating 200 to 1000 members.
