Badminton: Champion of Champions
In January 2026, CT University successfully hosted the AIU North Zone Inter-University Badminton Men Championship 2025–26, which witnessed participation from 75 university teams across the North Zone. The university emerged as the overall champions, securing the Gold Medal. The top four teams—CT University (Gold), NILLM University (Silver), Chandigarh University (Bronze), and Chitkara University—qualified for the All India Inter-University Championship and the prestigious Khelo India University Games .

Wushu: International Medal & Global Representation

• Abhishek Tawar, a student of CT University, won a Silver Medal in the 90kg Weight Category at the Open International Wushu Tournament 2025 held in Batumi, Georgia, bringing glory to both the institution and the nation .

• In March 2026, two CT University students—Yash Kadian and Surender Singh—were selected to represent India at the Acropolis International Wushu Open Tournament in Athens, Greece, one of the most prominent events in the global Wushu calendar .
