School of Regenerative Medicine - [SORM], an aegis of Manipal University, one of the top universities of the world, beholds the privilege of being among the first stem cell training institutes of the country. With the aim of perpetuating the zenith of unstained knowledge about the required expertise in the field of medicine development and training today’s youth to face the adversities of tomorrow the College is dedicated to efforts in making professional maestros at their work stations, as well as good citizens for the country. The ever changing world of medicines posses great challenges for the creation and application of drugs, new diseases pop out every year, microbes are becoming more resistant, in this respect the job of a medicine specialist is immeasurable. Clear understanding and its subsequent application is highly required in this field of science, and the experienced faculty and state of the art labs provide the perfect backdrop for quality education to be imparted in its true sense. The college offers MSc, Advanced Diploma, MPhil and PhD. in regenerative medicine. In addition to didactic and practical courses various annual workshops and training programmes on stem cell development and ICMR, applications are undertaken by the University.
