About College

Government College of Pharmacy, Aurangabad was founded in 1996 by Honourable Late Shri. Govindbhaiji Shroff. It was started as the Departments of Government College of Engineering, but after that in 1999, the college gained the status of full-fledged Government College. The College is located at Marathawada region of Maharashtra with an approximate area of 8000 sq. ft.

The institute is affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad and approved by AICTE and Government of Maharashtra. The college offers courses like B.Pharm. , 2 year courses like M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) and some 6 years integrated courses as well. Most of the college facilities have been approved by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada Univeristy, Aurangabad for doctoral studies. Some short term courses like CAT, GATE, GPAT, GRE etc. are also offered. The college aims to teach students social responsibility, humanity etc. to meet challenges in this profession.
