LV Prasad Film and TV Academy, as the name suggests, has been set up by the famous personality of Indian cinema, L. V. Prasad. It pledges to help students follow their heart and engage themselves fully into the filming career. Several courses like Direction, Sound and Editing design, and others are offered. The foundation of this college lies in the ideals and wishes of L.V.Prasad. He envisioned a powerful future for Indian cinema with more educated and talented film makers. With that spirit he established this institute so that students could make the most out of its state-of-the-art facilities and emerge out as strong warriors who have the ability to leave a mark with their work. It is ranked as the top 10 colleges in India to study film making.
