Gurukul Lutheran Theological College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu is one of the oldest and most renowned colleges in the Tamil Nadu state of Southern India and came into force after the Triennial Conference of the Federation of Evangelical Lutheran Churches felt the need to establish a college or the development of theological education. The college provides for major courses as Bachelors of Divinity, Masters of Theology and Doctor of Theology. The college works for the enlightenment of Christianity as a religion among the followers and students.
