Excel Group of Institutions situated at Pallakapalayam, Namakal District which was established and run the Sri Rengaswamy Educational Trust (SRET) with the aim to foster higher education and provide quality education to the rural India and uplift the downtrodden communities. The institute vision is to refine the scope of higher education to make the new generation of committed, knowledgeable and socially responsible citizens by inculcating intellectual, spiritual and emotional growth to them. The mission of the institution is to provide an encouraging environment to develop the intellectual capacity, critical thinking, creativity and problem solving abilities to the students, and to provide them excellent skills to meet the global challenges.

• Training and Placement Cell: The training and placement cell is very active in the college and make collaborations with renowned organizations and firms and invites company professionals, Recruiters and HR Teams so that the students of the institution get chance of interacting with them and gain some experience and also organize regular GDs, personality development programmes for the students. • Research and Development cell: The role of Research and Development Cell in the institutions is to enhance research and development activities and to motivate the faculty members and students to carry out research work in their respective fields.
• Awards, Achievements and Rankings: Excel group of Institutions is awarded with Brands Academy Excellence award for the fastest growing engineering college in Tamil Nadu, the institution is ranked 25^th by all India Ranking of B-School 2013, have an aero pavilion with MIG 23, MIG 21, Jet engines, Piston engines and all aircraft accessories, and also act as the Project and Remote centre for IIT Bombay.
