About College
Founded in the year 1996, Hindustan Institute of Engineering and Technology was constructed and paved in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The institute is under “Hindustan Engineering Training Centre (HETC) Educational Society” which was established in 1860 under the societies act, XXI. The institute has provided thousands of students in the engineering sector. The college is widely known in the African and Asian countries and continents as a best technical institution in our country. Various countries like Kenya, Singapore, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, and several aviation organizations have underwritten students to undergo technical education in HEIT. The institute has trained and passed out more than 42000 students as technicians and engineers and over 5000 of them are working with various aviation and airlines industries in our country and also in foreign countries.
