About College
Tumkur University was established in the year 2004 under the Karnataka State Universities Act, 2000 in order to cater the needs of thousands of students of higher education in the area . University has 12 postgraduate departments, 2 constituent colleges and 94 affiliated colleges.
- University has 29 research centers to promote research work and academic collaboration.
- University is accredited as “B” grade by NAAC

Network Operation Center: University campus has 420 LAN points and 10 wifi devices. University’s existing network is decentralized and uses various routers and firewalls.
Remote Sensing Centre: University has collaborated with Indian Space Research Organization to establish a remote sensing center in the campus. With the launch GIS and remote sensing center university has joint the elite league of institutions with boast of facilities
Automated Weather Station: It is latest of its kind in the state. It was established in 2010 as an initiative of ISRO. It is an agricultural friendly venture in addition to addressing the research and education needs.
Publications:
Lokajnana - It is quarterly journal containing research papers in original and translated languages.
International Journal of Science Research - IJSR is an international journal published quarterly reporting on publication of research papers.
International Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities - It is biannual journal published by the university. The main objective of journals is to share knowledge related to political science, history, sociology, archaeology, geography, international studies etc.

its management stage are also good in their work. Seniors are good and they will tell what ever you want. You can reach Seniors easily and they will tell everything about their experience. It is making lots of workshops in National level also. Sports is also good. I participated in All India university's completion. Campus selection is also good there.
