About College

Mangalore University is a premier university in Karnataka, which was established in 1980. It is a public university. It aims to provide the higher educational needs of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Kodagu Districts. It is located on a picturesque hillock, spread over 350 acres of land in Mangalore. It imparts higher education in the fields of arts, commerce, science, law, and management.

Library

  • The University library has in its Stock 1,92,598 books, 23,085 back volumes apart from Reports, Theses, etc., covering a wide variety of subjects.
  • It has a rich collection of about 316 research and general interest journals on a wide range of subjects
  • It has access to over 4,500 Journals in Full text in e-form from UGC-INFONET and Contents pages of 45,000 Journals with abstract facility across the globe from inside web Database of British Library Document Supply center (BLDSC), U.K.

Hostels

The University has three well-furnished hostels with, well-furnished guest rooms, a Library, Indoor sports facilities, etc.
