About College
Earlier known as the Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College, University is a deemed university of Bangalore city under UGC Act, 1956 by MHRD of the Union Government vide notification No.F-9-57/2007-U.3 (A) Ministry of HRD, GOI 19 December 2008 and 24 July 2009. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and research level programs in over 185 disciplines with certificate programs as well. Jain University is one best university in Karnataka that was founded by Dr. Chenraj Roychand, who has over 35 years of experience as an entrepreneur and educationist. Jain university also has a radio stationed called Radio Active 90.4 FM for its media students for training purposes.

A very good faculty management, friendly with all. A ragging free campus. It is having a great Infrastructure facility over 350 acre of campus, having all sports facility. Placement is good. Hostel life in SET-JU is awesome, The quality of food is very nice, It is like home for us. A very good environment around the campus. It is one of the most developing university.
