For taking admission in MCA course of NIILM University, the student must have passed his graduation in a particular discipline. The admission to this programme is based on the merit of a candidate in the pre-qualifying exam which is further followed by Entrance Test and then Personal Interview.

Ph.D. and M.Phil Admission in NIILM University

Students who are looking to pursue higher studies in order to research a particular subject, then he can avail Ph.D. course which is provided by the NIILM University. Students can also choose full time/part time and off campus option as per their requirements.

A candidate who has gained any of the Master’s Degree or any equivalent degree from AICTE/UGC recognized college along with 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC, ST & differently abled candidates).

Selection criteria related to P.hD programs is based on the performance in Entrance Test, Interview & the marks gained in the qualifying exams. Final cut-off scores shall be at the discretion of the University before the result declaration.

1. The researchers who fulfill any one of the below-mentioned conditions shall be free from the entrance exam:-

• The candidates who qualify CSIR (JRF) / U.G.C Examination/GATE/NET/M.Phil degree holder/Teacher Fellowship holder who have already taken the entrance test.
• The ones who get passed in M.Tech/M.E from the statutory University
• Teachers who are having 5 years of continuous teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
• Research Scholars/Senior Citizens/ Persons having extraordinary abilities and who have passed a graduate examination scoring 55% marks along with 15 years of enormous experience after the graduation in the concerned field (which is on the Vice Chancellor discretion)

The selection of the candidates who are held free from the entrance test is on the basis of their performance in the marks and the interview scored in the qualifying exams.

Application Procedure of NIILM University

• Candidates are required to go through all the instructions carefully before starting to fill the application form of NIILM University.
• Candidates are required to write personal particulars as well as the application form number on the reverse of the DD/bank challan receipt or NEFT voucher copy and attach this to the completely filled in application form
• Applicants are also required to paste their recent photo in a defined space in the application form.

They are also required to attach documents’ copies as required in the application form.
