Maharishi Markandeshwar University proffers admission to the candidates in UG and PG programs. There are 2 campuses of the University in Haryana, one is at Mullana and the other is at Sadopur.

A lot of courses are offered in various streams in Mullana campus of Maharishi Markandeshwar University such as in IT & Software, Engineering, Nursing and Law, Business & Management Studies, Science, Nursing and Law, Medicine & Health Sciences, Hospitality & Travel etc. 

In the Sadopur campus of Maharishi Markandeshwar University, candidates can get admission in a number of streams such as in Architecture and Health Sciences, Business & Management Studies, Science, Engineering etc.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria for UG & PG Courses

Candidates who seek admission in undergraduate programs of Maharishi Markandeshwar University must meet the eligibility criteria before being enrolled in these programs. The candidate must have cleared his 10+2 or any equivalent exam with minimum 60% aggregate if the candidate is from general category and minimum 40% marks if he comes in SC/ST category.

If the candidate is likely to enrol into the PG programme of Maharishi Markandeshwar University, then he must have a degree in its field or he must have cleared an equivalent examination from an affiliated university with minimum 50% marks if they come in general category or 45% marks if they come in SC/ST category.

Admission Process

Maharishi Markandeshwar University offers admissions to the students in all courses on after qualifying an exam. However, some courses also accept the ranks/scores of other exams. Following are the courses which accept the ranking in other entrance exams.

Candidates who exactly meet the eligibility criteria for the admission are required to appear for a round of counseling organized by University. Some of the documents the candidates must bring for counseling round are as follows:-

• Original Matric(10th Certificate (as a proof of date of birth).
• Original Certificates/Marksheets of passing the qualifying examination on the basis of which the candidate intends to apply for the admission.
• CMAT/GATE/MAT/JEE(Main) Rank Card score for enrolling into BTech, MTech and MBA exams
• Character certificate from the college/school, institution/University which was last attended by the aspirant.
• Original Migration Certificate from the University/Board (which is to be submitted during counseling or within fifteen days from admission date.
• An undertaking is also needed against ragging by the students as well as their parents which is to be submitted during counseling.
• A single set of photocopies of all the documents duly attested by the candidate excluding Migration Certificate.

Application Process

Application form of Maharishi Markandeshwar University can be filled online or even in offline mode. The ones who are likely to fill the application form through online method can go ahead in downloading the form from the college’s official site. However, the offline application form of the University can be acquired from the University’s administrative office or by sending a DD in favor of University’s Registrar.

Candidates who apply for a program or course of Maharishi Markandeshwar University are required to paste their passport size photo in the form and also need to send 2 separate copies of their photo with the application form.

While filling out the application form, candidates are needed to choose the campus- Sadopur-Ambala, MMU, Mullana Ambala etc where they need to do their course. Aspirants are also required to list the courses priority wise in the application form.

Admission for International Students

International students can enroll in any course under NRI or foreign category seats. The students are eligible to get admission in this category. Aspirants who have secured 50% marks in their examination are entitled to admission in Maharishi Markandeshwar University. Candidates who meet the minimum criteria of eligibility of MMU University can go ahead to apply for the admission process after filling out the application form online.

Application fee for Foreign Nationals and NRI

NRI seats must be filled by the genuine NRIs as well as their wards and their children. The candidates who are likely to apply for admission are not required to submit their CAT/CMAT, MAT, GATE, BTECH, M.tech scorecard for the purpose of getting admission into MBA, Btech as well as MTech courses.

Maharishi Markandeshwar University reserves 15% seats for Foreign National/NRI/PIO seats in every course of the University.

Admission is finalized with the help of counseling on the basis of marks which were obtained in intermediate.

Merit Screening

In the merit screening, admission is done on the basis of the marks which were obtained in intermediate (10+2)

Refund Policy

Under the Refund policy of Maharishi Markandeshwar University, the fee deduction will be as following:

(i)Within Fifteen days of Admission: Rs. 1000/-

(ii)After 15 days: Proportionate fee amount

(iii)After the last day of July: No fee will be refunded
