The admission process at K.R. Mangalam University is simple and student-friendly. Students can apply online by meeting the basic eligibility criteria—usually 50% marks in Class 12 for UG courses. If a student hasn’t taken national-level exams like JEE or CUET, they are required to take the university’s entrance exam called KREE. This is a short 30-minute online test with questions on reasoning, English, general awareness, and subject-specific topics. After the test, shortlisted candidates attend a personal interview to assess communication and motivation. Most students find the exam and interview easy with basic preparation. Once selected, students submit documents and pay a part of the fee to confirm admission

K.R. Mangalam University offers a variety of UG and PG Courses. As a student here, I’ve had a mixed but mostly positive experience that has shaped both my academic and personal development. The faculty I have interacted with are quite helpful when it comes to understanding certain concepts/clearing doubts. However, the teaching quality can vary from department to department, and certain faculty may not be as engaging or effective. The student has to be more open as that proves to be more beneficial. There are cultural festivals, hackathons, fashion shows, and other student-led events. KRMU has a placement cell that brings various companies to get students placed in various companies. Like any other university, it has its pros and cons, but it offers students a platform to grow and push their boundaries.

K. R. Mangalam University offers decent placements with companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro visiting the campus. However, core roles are limited, and many students end up in support or sales jobs. The university provides training and mock interviews, but students still need to learn skills beyond the syllabus to get better offers. The campus has smart classrooms, spacious labs, a digital library, and clean hostels, though the Wi-Fi is sometimes slow and the mess food could be improved. Faculty members are mostly helpful and knowledgeable, with some bringing real-world examples into their teaching. Still, a few rely too much on theory, and more practical learning would be useful. The university has clubs and events for students, and while hostel life is generally fine, services like laundry and food need more attention.

Admission criteria for 1) MBA - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate from recognized University. 2) B.Tech - 10+2 examination conducted by the CBSE or equivalent examination from a recognized board in Science stream with Physics & Mathematics as essential subjects with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. 3) M.Tech - Passed B.E or B.Tech or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or EEE or Instrumentation & Control or in relevant discipline with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
