KR Mangalam University provides not only the diploma but also degree programmes to the students at UG, PG and doctorate level. The University offers its programmes in a number of streams such as Architecture & Planning, Humanities & Social Sciences, Teaching & Education, Communication & Media Design, Law, and Accounting & Commerce.
Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate as well as Postgraduate Courses
Candidates who are looking to apply for the undergraduate courses of K R Mangalam University must pass 10+2 exam from the CBSE board. The candidates are required to secure 50% marks in their qualifying examination.
The ones who are desirous of applying to the UG programmes of K R Mangalam University need to pass 10+2+3 exam from an affiliated University. The candidates are needed to have 50% minimum marks in their qualifying examination.
Admission Procedure
All Candidates who are seeking admissions in various programs are required to follow the 9 (nine) steps listed below-:
- Download Application form through K.R. Mangalam website or get Admission- cum-Brochure from the counter at K.R. Mangalam University Campus, Sohna Road, Gurgaon.
- Submit the duly filled Application Form (fill up personal details, qualification and choice of programme category of courses) along with the supporting documents.
- Candidate should have secured minimum 50% in their Senior Secondary Exam / Graduation.
- Test score in any of the following National Level Test (optional) AIEEE/UPSEE/UGAT/ CAT/ MAT/SAT/ GMAT/ENAT/ EMAT is to be filed.
- KR. Mangalam now accepts Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam scores, for more information please call or drop a text on 8800697010-20
- Attend Group Discussion/Personal Interview as per schedule wherever required.
- Upon the final selection complete all the admission formalities and deposit the requisite fee.
OR
- The candidate shall opt for the seat of his / her choice out of the seats available and proceed immediately to deposit fee, through Demand Draft of Rs.25000/- at the Fee Counter. Rest of the fee could be deposited as per the fee schedule.
* If a candidate after selection fails to deposit the fee within the stipulated time, he / she shall forfeit the right of admission. However he/ she may be considered for allotment of seat at a later date / time as per the availability at that point of time.
- All Students will be informed about commencement of the Orientation Programme and session through mail and telephone.
- All Students need to report / register on the day of Orientation.
- On the day of Orientation, Students will be required to submit the following documents at the Registration Desk along with one set of (PHOTOCOPIES ATTESTED) of the following-:

Final Selection
Candidates are selected based on rank/score obtained entrance exam/JEE Mains and performance in personal interview.
Candidates are chosen according to the score/rank received in JEE Mains or entrance test as well as his performance in the interview.

The administration and management of this university are extremely poor. Basic facilities like the digital library and Wi-Fi rarely function properly, making the so-called “digital section” almost useless. Even after paying fees on time, students are required to personally visit the registrar’s office multiple times to get their payments officially recorded, which clearly shows administrative inefficiency. The university also imposes fines on trivial and unreasonable activities, often without providing any official list or prior clarity. Students are penalized without proper transparency. Another important issue is related to scholarships. During admission, scholarships are offered, but later they are divided into two parts across two semesters. This information is not clearly explained during admission. Students are advised to properly confirm all scholarship details before paying their fees. Overall, the lack of transparency, poor management, and unclear policies make the student experience highly frustrating. Prospective students should ask detailed questions before taking admission. K.R. Mangalam University offers a variety of UG and PG Courses. As a student here, I’ve had a mixed but mostly positive experience that has shaped both my academic and personal development. The faculty I have interacted with are quite helpful when it comes to understanding certain concepts/clearing doubts. However, the teaching quality can vary from department to department, and certain faculty may not be as engaging or effective. The student has to be more open as that proves to be more beneficial. There are cultural festivals, hackathons, fashion shows, and other student-led events. KRMU has a placement cell that brings various companies to get students placed in various companies. Like any other university, it has its pros and cons, but it offers students a platform to grow and push their boundaries.
