About College
Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara Academy of Technical Education is an engineering college that was established by Shri Jagadaguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji in 1997 under the JSS Mahavidyapeetha(s) umbrella. Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) affiliated institution is AICTE approved and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation.
The lush green campus of the college is spread over an area of 21.17 acres on the South-Western edge of Bangalore City. IGNou has also launched its study center in JSS Academy of Technical Education in 1999.
