About College

Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology And Science (SGSITS) has become a brand name and with an idea to extend its goodwill, it is a public engineering institution established its management wing GSIMR- Govindram Seksaria Institute of Management And Research (Earlier known as IITM) in 1996.

• It is considered as 2nd best engineering college in Madhya Pradesh after MANIT Bhopal.
• The institute had made a beginning by introducing two-year full time postgraduate course in business administration (MBA).
• Among one of the recent developments is the introduction of certified course in IB for the management students within and outside the institute and for the corporate professionals as well.
• The institute is affiliated to Devi Ahilya University and approved by AICTE. As such it is a fully recognized institution with DAVV awarding MBA degree offered by the institute. Further it has wide support from industrial and business units for implanting training and placement.
• In the era of MBA colleges springing up like mushrooms, GSIMR is set apart by its world-class faculties and exposure provided by extra-curricular activities.

Infrastructure:- The 6 Acre campus is located near Meghdoot Upwan. Students have recreational facilities of volley ball and cricket. Plans include building of an Amphitheater, a Sports complex and Students common room.

Classrooms: Classroom Teaching through group discussion, presentation and case studies widening individuals approach through problem solving.

Library: The library offers more than 5700 books and subscribes to about 12 newspapers, 30 magazines and 50 Indian and foreign periodicals spanning all aspects of management. GSIMR Library also has a large section of general books consisting self-help books, autobiographies of business tycoons, corporate leaders and general management books.

Computer Lab: GSIMR has today, one of the finest computing environment among the management institutes of the M.P. The center with internet access, is almost a bee-hive of activities.The student PC ratio is 2:1. The center has a library of about 500 CD titles for instant information and dictionary requirement. the center is open round the clock with internet access for student. Faculty Members are connected through the intranet.

Hostel: There are seven hostels in the college. Four boys hostels (600 seats) & two girls hostels (100 seats).
