Entrance Exam & Admissions
The students who are selected through the CAP rounds are eligible to secure their seats in the college. There are seats for Minority students as well. The eligibility criteria is 50% aggregate in PCM or PCM+Elective. The MHT-CET score cut off was 80+

The Training and Placement Cell in XIE aims to provide campus selection offers to all students who are interested. They also conduct placement trainings and mock interviews right from the First Year. Almost 80-85% of the students get placed irrespective of their streams.
Fees & Scholarships
XIE provides various scholarship opportunities to students who are deserving. They also have scholarships for minority students. The fees can be paid in installments if any issues.
Academics & Faculty
The faculty here are mostly holding a PhD and Masters degree. They are approachable and also are quite knowledgeable and teach well. XIE is very particular about the 75% attendance and the teachers do give warnings and also help the students through remedial lectures.
College Infrastructure
The practical labs are fully furnished and well equipped and air conditioned. The library contains all the books related to the curriculum of all branches and also has books for other competitive exams. The library is very organized and the library closes post 7 pm so that students can avail of the facilities as we have books and also the digital library. We have two sports ground and a sports room for indoor games.
Food Services & Hostel
The canteen food is quite affordable and also tasty. You can choose varieties from veg and non veg and also sweets that change every day. The canteen is mostly clean and hygienic.

Xavier Institute of Engineering Placements and job opportunities are the backbone of our college. Almost 80% of our college students gets placed before the Degree. L&T,Seclore,Infosys,Accenture, CapGemini are the major recruiters.
