About College

Tripura Institute of Technology (TIT), earlier known as Polytechnic Institute. It was started with conventional branches of Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering. In 1995, Electronics & Tele-Communication Engineering was introduced. Now, the college offers 5 Bachelor Degree in (Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Tele-Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering) and 8 Diploma courses (Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Tele-Communication Engineering, Food Processing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and Architectural Assistantship).

For admission into the Bachelor program, candidates need to qualify Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE). There is the provision of 25% seat reservation in each branch for Lateral EntryThe college organizes various co-curricular activities like games & sports, debate, cultural functions, essay competition, drama competition, rallies on various themes, NCC programs, etc.
