Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering & Technology is an Autonomous institute founded in 1988.
It is promoted by the Ramachandra Educational Trust was formally inaugurated by All India NR Congress founder-leader and chief minister N Rangasamy.

SVCE has a fully automated & computerized library with 25480 titles covering all major fields of Science & Engineering. The library covers an area of 1338 sqm. Seating capacity to hold 230 people.
