If you work hard you will definitely get placed in SMIT. Opportunities are there (if not many)
Fees & Scholarships
Fees is high. Scholarships are only awarded to a handful of students based on 12th percentage. But there are conditions, SMIT can revoke your scholarship too
Academics & Faculty
Fair mixture of practical and academics. Not very bright teachers. You might have to be a lone warrior sometimes
College Infrastructure
Can only speak about CS labs. Yes, they have plenty of computers. But if you want to play with new technologies, you'll have to be a lone wolf again. An Awesome Gym is there. Good infra within a small campus. Shitty wifi.
Food Services & Hostel
Engineering colleges are not particularly famous for their "food services". Smit is not so bad. Don't expect much. Hostels are fairly clean. Rooms are good

The internships are sometimes arranged by the faculty or you can apply to the nearby Companies and Factories. Placement is not as good as it should be but there is a decent lot of companies offering package as high as 12LPA, you have to be An all round student to get those.
Fees & Scholarships
Fee is a bit steep, but there is a Manipal factor along with the awesome facilities, However scholarship is available widely.
Academics & Faculty
The faculty is Great but you have to work hard too...
College Infrastructure
Everything you can imagine is available within the campus, so don't sweat it...
Food Services & Hostel
Its one of the best Messes you will ever find, don't expect Sanjeev Kapoor in the kitchen, but its a lot better than any other college out there.

Very strict with attendance with some good faculty, they will help if u want to learn
