About College

Sinhgad Institute of Technology (SIT), Pune was established in 2011 under Sinhgad Technical Education Society. It is affiliated to University of Pune and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The mission of the institute is to strengthen and enhance Industry – Institute partnership by way of campus connect, to create maximum opportunities for the placements of the eligible students in the job market by establishing a rapport with the industry people and to impart personality development training to the students to face this competitive era. The vision of the institute is to develop national and international links with the business organizations to be able to create meaningful relationship & opportunities for the placement of the students in the global job markets and to develop students who are globally employable & ready hands to the industry. It is  situated 03 km from Lonava railway station and 70 km from Lohgaon airport.

      College work really hard to get each and every student get placed in good company's. College is having excellent placement cell which gets best companies to the college campus with good package. Placement for course company is very less. Only for computer department is very high. There u will definitely get a job. There are ample of job preferences. Huge number of companies, national as well as international companies recruit student in large numbers. IBM, Infosys, TCS, Convergence and many more
