R.R. Institute of Modern Technology (RRIMT), Lucknow was established in 2008. The college is affiliated to Gautam Buddh Technical University (Formerly called UPTU), Lucknow and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Computer Lab:
- Computer lab is fully air-conditioned, Centre equipped with 1 mbps broadband internet.
- There are 150 computers with TFT monitors, online UPS, online printers, computer peripherals and advanced level software’s C, C++, Borland, Microsoft MSDN, case tools multimedia software suit, visual FoxPro etc.
Library:
- The library has around 27,000 books with approx. 5,740 numbers of titles.
- Apart from this, there is also a collection of 150 journals (national and international).
- 300 online or more journals are also available for students.

Candidate must have passed intermediate/10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized board with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate. And also qualify AIEEE/UPSEE Entrance Exam with good rank.
