Bharata Mata College first grade arts and science co-educational institution in the aided sector. The college was established in 1965 and is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. The college was included under section 2(f) and 12(b) of the UGC Act 1956 in 1976.

  • National Cadet Corps- It is a voluntary organization which affords service training to university students. It helps students to develop character, comradeship, service mindedness, and leadership
  • National Service Scheme- It aims at education through community service. It is intended to arouse the social conscience of the student community by preparing them to be useful to society

Clubs:

  • Drama Club- The Drama Club of the college aims to create a platform for students who have a passion for fine art to become better in its aesthetics
  • Dance Club- It aims to bring together the students who are performing arts
  • Music Club- The club helps the students to explore their hidden talents in music
  • Literacy Club- With the vision to develop the literary skills of the students, the Literacy Club has been made in the college
  • Nature Club- The clubs aims at encouraging students about the essence of nature
  • Film club- The college has a film club which shows the students film every week

Scholarships:

  • National Loan Scholarship- NLS is given to Indian nationals for the courses after matriculation or SSLC leading to the first degree. Those with 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination are eligible. The income limit is Rs.25,000/-
  • National Merit Scholarship- This scholarship is awarded strictly on the basis of merit. If the income exceeds Rs.25,000/- per annum, a certificate of merit and a national prize of Rs.100/-will be awarded
