At least 45% marks in Higher Secondary (Class XII) with sciences Subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Language Subjects). A relaxation of 5% marks in class XII will be made for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates. Performance in JEE Mains and/or Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (CGPET) and/or OP Jindal University entrance test (OPJUET) and/or followed by Interview. For B. Tech Lateral Entry (2nd Year - 3rd Semester) admission -As per AICTE norms.

Placement of this University is really good as this college is driven by Jindal Conglomerate. Almost there are 70% placement as most of the students went for higher studies. The major companies came to recruit and offered good salary package.
