Entrance Exam & Admissions
The admission is processed through WBJEE, AIEEE ranks.During my time , the civil engineering stream used to range within 6000(WBJEE rank) ,EE within 9000( WBJEE rank), ece,cse within 12000(WBJEE rank) . The scenario can be changed now.

It used to be a top ranked college but the standard has deteriorated. Placements of core sector is poor same as the scenario of pan india. Software sector organises mass recruitment . The avg package is 3.5-4 lpa.
Fees & Scholarships
Fee structure is moderate and reasonable . Loan facility and scholarships are processed by university (MAKAUT formerly known as WBUT).
Academics & Faculty
Faculty is supportive and highly qualified. I was in civil engineering. Civil engineering labs are highly equipped . The classes are very much regular and it will help students to pursue higher studies.
College Infrastructure
There is no GYM or sports complex. Wifi facility is weak. Lab and library has abundance of books and equipments.
Food Services & Hostel
Hostel rooms are furnished and good. Quality of food is average and hygienic .
