About College

Marian Engineering College (MEC), Thiruvananthapuram was established in 2001. MEC has been accorded Minority Institution Status by the National Minorities Commission. College is managed by the Trivandrum Social Service Society under the Trivandrum Latin Catholic Archdiocese.

• Vision of the College is “To establish a high-level centre of learning with research facilities, comparable to international standards and to develop and promote academic excellence in students from all communities”
• Mission of the College is “To create a conducive environment suitable to achieve personal career goals with the help of quality education in selected spheres of Engineering with strong emphasis on personality development, academic excellence and spiritual strength for every individual admitted to this institution”
• The college is located at the picturesque location between National Highway (NH 47) and Arabian Sea shore at Menamkulam, Kazhakuttom about 15 km from Thiruvanantha-puram city
• Institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to University of Kerala
