About College

Khammam Institute of Technology & Sciences was established in the year 2008 under the aegis of Sri Kavitha Educational Society with objective to provide technical education to students as they can become capable of holding responsibility of good citizen of the country. College offers  3 diploma, 5 undergraduate and 7 post graduate courses.  College is situated 9 km from Khammam town on Hyderbad-Khammam Highway. College is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to JNTU, Hyderabad.

Hostel: College has exclusive hostel for ladies situated in Khammam with all basic facilities. Hostel has accommodation for 150 students.

Library: College library currently has 5000 volumes of books that can cater the requirement of students for various engineering fields. Library subscribes to 30 national and international journals. It is divided into three sections:-

  • Stocked Books
  • Magazines and Journals
  • Reading Hall

Computer Lab: College has fully air conditioned computer center with 90 P-IV systems connected through LAN.  The following softwares are available for students: MS office, C++, Unix, C, LINUX, Java, oracle, etc.
