At KR Mangalam University, the placement and internship experience is quite supportive and industry-oriented, especially for programs like BCA – Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. The university has a dedicated Career Development Cell that works with students throughout their academic journey to prepare them for corporate jobs and internship opportunities. From around the 5th or 6th semester, students become eligible to participate in internship drives and placement activities where they receive guidance on resume building, interview preparation, communication skills, and aptitude tests before actual company visits. Many students get internships with both technical and non-technical roles, and some of these internships are paid with stipends — often ranging from modest monthly amounts to higher stipends depending on the company and role. Internships are a great way to gain real-world experience and, in many cases, strong performers are offered pre-placement or full-time job offers after their internship ends. When it comes to placements, the university attracts a wide variety of companies from different sectors such as IT, consulting, finance, and more. Some well-known recruiters that have visited in recent years include TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Deloitte, Genpact, IBM, Google, and Accenture — offering roles in software, analytics, support functions, and business operations. While the highest salary packages reported during placement seasons can be impressive (sometimes going above ?30 LPA or even ?56 LPA in rare cases), the average package depends on the course and performance of the batch, usually ranging from around ?4 LPA to ?11 LPA across disciplines. Fees & Scholarships

While some students do feel that the way subjects are taught and the technology used could improve further, overall the professors focus on building both basic and advanced knowledge in AI and data science and encourage students to participate in discussions and assignments. Regular tests and assignments keep students on track, and most teachers are available to guide students when they need extra help.
College Infrastructure
The infrastructure at KR Mangalam University is quite modern and student-friendly. The computer labs are well-equipped with updated systems and required software, which really helps during practical sessions and project work. The library is spacious, peaceful, and stocked with a good collection of academic books, journals, and online resources, making it easy to study or prepare for exams. Overall, the infrastructure creates a comfortable and positive learning environment and supports both academic and extracurricular growth.
Food Services & Hostel
Although I am not a hostel resident, based on interactions with hostel-staying friends and general observation, the hostel and food services at KR Mangalam University appear to be well-managed. The mess food quality is generally considered decent and balanced, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available to cater to different preferences. The menu is usually rotated to avoid repetition, and the food is prepared keeping basic nutrition in mind. In terms of hygiene and cleanliness, the mess area is regularly cleaned, and proper hygiene standards are mostly maintained. The hostel rooms are said to be clean, furnished, and comfortable, with basic facilities like beds, storage, study tables, and adequate lighting. Common areas and washrooms are cleaned regularly, which helps maintain a healthy living environment. Overall, even though I do not stay in the hostel myself, the feedback from students living there is mostly positive, and the facilities seem suitable for a comfortable student life.

The university also focuses on practical knowledge through lab sessions, presentations, workshops, and real-world projects. This balance between theory and practical learning helps students understand concepts more clearly and build confidence.

, I find the infrastructure quite modern and well-maintained. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with smart boards, and the labs have proper facilities for practical learning. The library provides a good study environment with useful academic resources. Overall, the campus infrastructure supports both comfort and effective learning.

the food mess offers decent quality meals with a variety of options. The hygiene standards are generally maintained, and the dining area is kept clean. The campus overall is well-maintained, with regular cleaning and proper waste management. This creates a comfortable and healthy environment for students.
