About College

KLR College of Engineering and Technology, Khammam was started in the academic year 2008-09 under the sponsorship of Late Dr. K.Lakshma Reddy with a vision to provide higher education to the rural part of Khammam district.

  • College offers various undergraduate and postgraduate engineering and management courses
  • College is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University, Hyderabad and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi
  • College is now planning to establish various companies’ research and development centers so that students can be benefitted to have assistantship and internship in the campus

Facilities:

Central Library: The library has rich collection of books and journals in various disciplines of engineering. The central library has 10500 volumes of books over 1500+ titles. It has subscribed to 30 international and 59 national journals.  There is also a digital library with 100 systems facilitated with internet. Through digital library students can have access over 1200 ebooks and journals.

Seminar Halls: College has 2 seminar halls equipped with world class facilities and having seating capacity of 200 and 400 students. They are utilized for various conferences, orientation programs, workshops and lectures.

Hostels:  College has hostel facilities available for boys and girls separately. Currently hostels can accommodate 70 girls and 80 boys. More hostel blocks are under construction stages.
