About College
DIT is a University with difference- open to new ideas and thinking. Built on principles of trust, accountability and integrity – the very corner stones on which a foundation of this great institution was laid.
- Formerly known as Dehradun Institute of Technology, established in 1998 by Late Shri Naveen Agarwal, DIT received the status of a University on March 12, 2013, vide Uttarakhand Act No. 10 of 2013, recognized by UGC under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956.
- An educational oasis located in the peaceful and pristine greens of Doon Valley, the 21 acre DIT Campus is a goldmine of opportunity for students

Veda - The Library, gives you access to books and journal collections as well as study spaces, IT and photocopying resources. Our collection of over 1 Lakh books has grown rapidly in recent years and is an excellent resource. |

Hostel |
Campus provides separate hostel facility boys & Girls with accommodate capacity of 1,200 boys & 1000 girls. Hostel facility is available in single, double & triple sharing basis. Also provide separate mess facility for girls & boys. |

Medical |
Campus provides medical facility under the guidance of qualified and experienced doctors of the prestigious Max Super Speciality Hospital Dehradun. A Lady Medical Officer is available on campus during the better part of the day and Nursing Staff and Ambulance are available 24×7. |

University has 3 cafeterias in different blocks of the campus provide drinks, snacks & meal facility. Campus also has a Café Coffee Day outlet. |
