Festivals
Frolic: It is National Level Technical Symposium where talent meets opprtunity. Technical competitions and events covering all areas of engineering. There are competitions, guest lectures, workshops and quizzes.
Udaan: is annual cultural festival. Is usually takes place in the second week of April. This consists of literary and debating events/competitions like singing, dance, play, mimicry, garba etc.
Scholarship
Different types of scholarships are available from various organizations and government schemes for SC & ST students. Through this, students have got the benefits of scholarship of more than Rs. 1,00,00,000/-

Darshan Institute of Engineering & Technology is an established engineering college with excellent academic infrastructure. The college has experienced and supporting faculty members, and the overall environment is peaceful and supportive for students. The college is situated in a cool, calm and composed environment, which is ideal for studying. The college provides various streams of engineering and decent library and excellent lab facilities. The college also provides placement assistance through its Training and Placement Cell and students get exposure through various technical and cultural events such as Frolic and Udaan. The college also provides scholarships to deserving students, which is an added advantage for students from the reserved category. Overall, DIET is a decent option for students seeking quality engineering education in Gujarat.

There are engineering cources offer B.Tech degree, college is famous for the B.Tech (CSE) there are other graduation and post graducation cources also like MBA. MTech. College also offer Civil, Mech engineering. Almost all cources are after 12th. (except diploma) Eligibility of the Courses :Undergraduate (UG): B.Tech / Engineering: Must have passed Class 12 (HSC) with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. Typically a minimum aggregate requirement (e.g., ~45% for general and lower for reserved categories) and valid entrance examination scores (e.g., GUJCET) for admission consideration. Also you can direct contact the University campus or University Rajkot office. For B.Sc.(H) in Computer Science, BCA, BBA, B.Com: Pass in Class 12 (HSC) from a recognised board. The experience of studying at Darshan College has been excellent. The placement record here is very strong and the college constantly strives to connect students with the industry. Many prestigious companies come for campus placement and students are given proper guidance. The biggest feature of Darshan college, Rajkot is its faculty. Most of the professors are directly associated with the IT industry specifically for computer engineering and many faculty members also have their own companies. Therefore, they teach not only theory but also real-world IT industry experience, which is very beneficial for the students.
