Camellia Institute of Technology, Kolkata was founded in the year 2007 by Camellia Educational and Manpower development Trust. CIT was established with an aim to develop an engineering college that would provide quality education and exposure to technology to its students as well as promote innovation and improvisation in various fields of engineering. Over the years,

CIT has a vision of developing citizens who have resources to face future challenges and to develop CIT as nucleus of excellence in technology, research and education. CIT has developed its vision into its mission and has been working in the same direction ever since to achieve it.
