Cambridge Institute of Technology, Ranchi was established in the year 2001. Institute believes that its success doesn’t lies in producing good engineers but also in getting them placed in the good firms. Institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and Govt. of Jharkhand. It is affiliated to Ranchi University. It is managed by Cambridge Trust of India. Also it is ISO 9001:2008 certified.

- Hostels: There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Campus has 3 hostels from which one is for boys and 2 are for girls. Each room can accommodate 2 students. Hostels have all basic amenities available for the students.
- Library: College library has rich collection of 15000+ volumes of books. Library also subscribes to national and international journals. Library is fully computerized.
