Placements are decent and honestly getting better every year. The placement cell conducts regular training sessions for aptitude and basic coding, which helps a lot. Companies come for campus drives, and the average package sits around 3 to 4 LPA. But what’s really great is how they support entrepreneurship. If you have a solid project idea, the faculty actually guides you instead of just pushing you towards regular jobs. Thanks to their backing and connections with local incubation networks like AIC-SKU, we were able to scale our own idea into a proper government-recognized startup under Startup India.
Fees & Scholarships
The fee structure is fair and matches the state government guidelines. There are no weird hidden charges or extra fees popped on you out of nowhere mid-year. For students coming through the convenor quota, state scholarships like Vidya Deevena apply smoothly, which takes a huge load off the parents. The college office handles the scholarship paperwork pretty efficiently, so you don't have to keep running around for approvals.
Academics & Faculty
The faculty members are highly qualified, approachable, and emphasize practical understanding over simple rote learning. They provide comprehensive study resources, lecture notes, and encourage students to explore beyond the syllabus by working on real-time hardware and software projects. Mid-exams and laboratory assessments are conducted strictly on schedule, which helps students pace their preparation perfectly for the final university semester exams.
College Infrastructure
ALITS offers a very green and peaceful campus environment that is ideal for studying. The classrooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with basic smart tools and projectors for digital learning. The main library is quite large and well-stocked with plenty of engineering books, reference journals, and quiet spaces to study. The computer labs and core branch laboratories have all the necessary equipment for our weekly practicals, and the sports ground and basketball court are well-maintained. The campus has good transport connectivity via college buses.
Food Services & Hostel
The hostels are separate for boys and girls and are kept clean with regular maintenance. The rooms are basic but comfortable enough. Talking about the mess food, it’s decent and hygienic. It tastes like regular local food sometimes it’s great, sometimes it’s just okay, which is pretty normal for any college hostel. The college canteen is the best spot on campus though; they serve really good snacks and tea at very affordable prices.

One thing I would especially like to mention is that the college was supportive of innovation and student ideas. During my time here, I worked on my startup, Stayly Innovations Private Limited, and I received encouragement from faculty members and the college management while balancing academics and entrepreneurial activities. The college provided a positive environment for students who are interested in learning beyond the classroom, participating in projects, and building practical skills. This support helped me gain confidence, improve my problem-solving abilities, and work on real-world ideas alongside my education.
