About College
Aligarh College of Engineering & Technology (ACET), Aligarh established in 2001 under Jawahar Vidyalay Society. It is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow and approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The main objective of an institute is to generate a bunch of highly creative professionals, who can contribute not only in the human resource development but also in the nation building exercise. The mission of the college is to prepare students for higher level of education in engineering, technology and sciences so that they become competent, creative and imaginative professionals.

Yes, Placements are not good. Reputed companies do not participate during the on campus placements. various internships are offered to the students.

The candidate must have passed intermediate examination or equivalent (10+2) from any recognized Board/University, with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science or he / she should be a rank holder in UPSEE examination. He/she should have minimum 50% marks in Physics, Maths & Chemistry/ Bio-tech./ Computer Science. The admission to B.Tech are made through counseling of UPSEE / AIEEE. A limited number of seats in management quota are filled according to merit of UPSEE / AIE
