Banarsi Dass Arya Girls College was established in 1964 by Arya Samaj. It is located on Haquiqat Road Jalandhar Cantt is one of the leading educational institutions of Jalandhar. Lala Bishamber Dass, a true philanthropist a well- known businessman of Punjab and the owner of B.D.A. Steels was the founder chairman of the college.

• The Rotract Club- The Club works in the vicinity of sponsory Rotary Club, Jalandhar. Service for love and peace are the objectives of the Rotary
• Naional Service Scheme- The object of National Service Scheme is to educate the youth in community service and to bring about social awareness and consciousness regarding the environment
• National Cadet Corps- The main aim of N.C.C. organization to awake the Youth about their responsibilities towards their nation and to make them  ideal citizen

Library:

• The college has a well furnished library which has more than 31000 books and 5 journals
• The library is equipped with e-Lib software which provides online search facility 2100 e-journals, 51000 e-books and bibliographic databases are made available to the library users through N-List programme under INFLIBNET.
